We at Rainbow Ridge Kennels do accept advance deposit on up coming litters of puppies and in some cases it is the only way you can purchase a quality puppy from us. This has involved due to our high quality and limited number of puppies we do produce pre-breed each year. However let it be know that by accepting your advance deposit the purchase does understand that there are no refunds on the deposit for whatever reason. In the event of low litter puppy count or something out of our control and we can not fullfill your puppy order with the current litter, your deposit will be transfer over to the next available litter. However this sometimes can mean a wait of six months to a year in some cases. We further more state, deposit are taken on quality and sex of puppies, not for color. If for some reason we cannot fill your order for a puppy after the next available litter eight week of age point than and only than will your deposit be refundable 30 days after this is confirmed by both parties otherwise the are no refunds. We at Rainbow Ridge Kennels have a very good record for customers that have given advance deposit due to the fact that we only accept so many deposit for each litter in order to fill your puppy order, after that if the litters are large enough, puppies are sold on a first come first serve bases. There are no exceptions to our depoist policy and no refunds. If for any reason a purchaser refuses the next puppy in line offer or does not complete purchase and payment in full by the puppies eight week old birth date the purchasers deposit will be consinder forfit and losted. Again Deposit's are not refundable. Deposit are $400.00 for each breed of dog and quality of dog such as pet, breeding or show quality. Rainbow Ridge Kennels guarantees all puppies to be shipped healthy and arrive live with all age required shots and in good general health, each purchaser has 48 hours to have there new puppy checked by their Vet. If the purchaser Vet., finds any genetic defect at this time, the purchase may return the puppy back to Rainbow Ridge Kennels for a puppy replacement of equal valued, this guarnatee is void after 48 hours if we do not hear from the purchaser or owner within the 48 hour priod. If a puppy replacement is not available at that time the purchaser will receive a replacement puppy from the next available litter. This guarantee is only a puppy replacement guarantee and there are no cash refunds to any purchaser. All shipping cost for the puppy return and replacement puppy being sent will be at the purchasers or owners expense. A statement for the purchasers Vet., must be sent to Rainbow Ridge Kennels outlining the problem and reason for the return with Vet. findings or testing results stated. All puppies are dewormed and given all shots related to age of puppy. This guarantee does not cover small problems of worms or mites although all puppies are checked and cleared before shipping by our Vet. This guarantee covers all puppies being shipped. All puppies are shipped insured for the protection of the purchaser for the purchased price and the cost of shipping. Guarantee on older dogs and dogs over three months of age vary and in most cases there is no guarnatee unless agreed to by both parites in writting before shippment.
Rainbow Ridge Kennels have a 24 month guarantee against crippling Canine Hip Dysplasia. All hip testing and x-rays to be completed or an evaluation performed before the ages of 24 months. If the dog is found to have CCH Dysplasia, the dog will be replaced or a credit given on another pup upon written verification from OFA or Penn HIP and the x-rays MUST be sent to Rainbow Ridge Kennels along with the ABRA Reg. Number or AKC Reg. Number identification Number of the dog and the x-rays... (they must match). X-rays will be to be sent ASAP to our vet to confirm the diagnosis. The dog must come back higher that the median low avg. score for it's relative breed, with Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD), for a replacement of or a credit on the dog. The owner then has three options, Putting the animal down, keeping the dog and spaying or neutering or returning the animal and the registration papers on the dog for the first available pup, of the same sex and quality in order to receive a replacement puppy or applying the credit on another dog. All shipping on returns will be at the current owners or purchasers expense and proof of euthanasia, and spay or neuter is required for a replacement or credit. This guarantee does not apply to any dog or puppy sold for a purchase price of $850.00 or less unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of purchase. It does not apply to dogs or puppies with limited registration and/or those sold with spay or neuter agreements. The guarantee only applies to dogs/puppies bred by Rainbow Ridge Kennels and only to the original purchaser of the dog/puppy. We also guarantee that the dog will be of stable temperament at the time of delivery. Guarantee is void if bred before the age of 18 months, mistreated, abused, lack of socialization or any type of neglect or injury is evident in the dog.
